The Big Easy comes to the Lowcountry with lively entertainment, funky music from Dikki Du and the Zydeco Krewe and a taste of New Orleans. Prepared by Home Team BBQ Executive Chef Aaron Siegel, the menu is complete with a Crawfish Boil, Jambalaya, Mini Po-Boys, Red Beans and Rice as well as plenty of Hurricanes and more. Tickets are $50 in advance or $60 at the door. Shuttle Hogs will provide transportation from drop offs TBD for a minimal fee where half of fare is donated to Operation Home. </p>

Mitch was a local chef, an avid music lover, and a dear friend to many. He passed away last year from a brain aneurysm, just days after April gave birth to his son. Saturday starts with the Sea &amp; Sand Island Scavenger Hunt at 9am. Then the street party kicks off at 10:30am and features live music at 11:30am on 2 stages by some great local &amp; touring bands. Then on Sunday, the festivities continue with the Tides Kickoff Classic Surf Competition at 8 am, followed by the 2nd Annual Sand Sculpting Contest from 11-2, &amp; concluding with the East Coast Party Band concert from 3-6pm, all at the Tides.</p>

<p>The two day, family and dog-friendly festival &amp; fundraiser is free to the public. Benefiting a man who has successfully made a career out of connecting with people through his music, proceeds will go to Mac in his ongoing recovery from a serious car accident and recent surgery to remove a brain tumor. A unique experience of camaraderie and good will, performances of Mac&#8217;s music will be set against a visual narration of the event on the theatre screen and give life to Mac&#8217;s story and his significant impact on those around him.</p>

The great thing about the upcoming Homegrown Music Showcase this Sunday is that you don&#146;t have to drive far as it&#146;s in Mount Pleasant at Patriot&#146;s Point. Attendees will see a very diverse group of artists at a singer in the round set up where three artists rotate every 45 minutes from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Joining in the Patriots Point Veterans Day week celebration, this event is presented by Awendaw Green and Patriots Point Naval and Maritime Museum.</p>

Zac Brown Band will play each night of three-day festival as well as an array of music talent from My Morning Jacket and Warren Haynes Band to Train, Fitz and The Tantrums and Del McCoury to name only a few.&nbsp; </p>
