Mellow Mushroom pizzas are best when they are plopped on your table, straight from the oven. The signature whole wheat crust holds up to whatever toppings you care to heap upon it. The list of toppings has always been creative, but a new guest chef program has really opened our eyes to just how inventive you can be with pizza. This is the kind of place where you can try whole new combinations with confidence ? the ?Credible Hulk with garlic, cilantro, avocado, and basil, won us over years ago, and the recently added El Pato has proven to be a winner too. But the salads are the best indication that these guys care a lot about veggies ? from a juicy caprese to a rockin? rocket salad (arugula), you?ll never find a wilted green here, unless of course you get spinach leaves on your pie.
